When Tinder's algorithm matched Skylar and Alyssa in the summer of 2020, little did they know they'd found their forever adventure buddy and best friend. Thank you Tinder! What started with shared Spotify playlists and bike rides quickly blossomed into the kind of love that makes you pack up your life and move to Tacoma (which is exactly what Alyssa did when Skylar stole her heart). Now these two best friends spend their days building their dream life: pedaling vintage bikes around Tacoma, tending to an ever-growing jungle of houseplants, hunting for treasures at estate sales, throwing legendary parties with their ride-or-die friend group, and spoiling their feline overlord, Nomi. Their home is full of unique art and vintage finds (including the retro glassware you'll take home as a wedding favor!) Post-wedding, they'll be embarking on their dream honeymoon to Japan before returning to house-hunt in Tacoma, where they plan to continue their greatest adventure yet—building a life that's equal parts cozy home, wild exploration, and overwhelming joy, surrounded by the friends and family who mean everything to them.
Alyssa Hammond
Alyssa Hammond was born in Trenton, New Jersey, she made Seattle her home in 2014 before Skylar's heart lured her to Tacoma. By day, Alyssa works her magic at Sound Retina, where she assists surgeons with in-office procedures and lasers, bringing warmth and comfort to her mostly elderly patients. Raised by her mother Victoria Russo alongside siblings Robert, Preslei, and step-sister Tayler, all still residing in Jersey. Alyssa's family roots run deep—and her role as aunt to niece Lyla is one she cherishes deeply. When it comes to relationships, Alyssa invests herself fully, whether with her tight-knit friend group or with Skylar, whose humor initially captured her heart. Ask her about her soon-to-be husband and she'll tell you he's the kindest soul she knows, appreciating his emotional depth and yes, even his occasional dramatic flair.
Skylar Robert Miner
Skylar Miner is Tacoma born and raised. When he's not managing projects at Blue Origin, you'll find him in his element: wrenching on vintage bicycles, painting cars to perfection, or tinkering with anything mechanical alongside his crew of friends. His mother, Kate Miner, lives in Tacoma, and his father, Frank Miner, lives in Puyallup. What captivated him about Alyssa? Her radiant smile that lights up a room, her unwavering empathy, her magnetic ability to draw people in, and her refreshing honesty—no filter, just pure Alyssa. Together with their cat Nomi and an impressive collection of plants, vintage treasures, and devoted friends, Skylar's building his most rewarding project yet: a life with his best friend and adventure partner.

Preslei Pittman, is Alyssa's younger sister by 13 years and works as an aesthetician in New Jersey. Despite their significant age gap, Alyssa treasures her role as a mentor to Preslei and enjoys spending time together whenever they can. She is delighted that Preslei can be here for the momentous day.
Best Man
Chris Grant. Chris met Skylar when they were just 4 and 6, growing up as neighbors who became brothers. His family embraced Skylar as their own. A hardworking entrepreneurial fisherman with his own boat, Chris enjoys life's adventures alongside his girlfriend Fran and his loyal dog.
Bride’s Maid
Marissa Cianculli. Marissa and Alyssa have been best friends since 2010, bonding over motorcycles and working at music venues. Originally from Pennsylvania, Marissa now lives in California where she owns a sign painting business and works as a graphic designer. Their friendship has remained strong despite the distance.
Groomsman
Tayler Lee. Tayler and Skylar's friendship dates back to kindergarten, with Tayler's family embracing Skylar as one of their own. A talented entrepreneur who runs his own foreign import car business, Tayler is both an exceptional mechanic and musician. The pair share a deep passion for automobiles and enjoy working on cars together.
Bride’s Maid
Mary Pacha. Mary, one of Alyssa's best friends since 2015, lives in Seattle with her husband Paul and daughter Lucy. Originally from Iowa, Mary works as a social worker in public health. The friends share a love of travel and music, and Alyssa cherishes her role as 'Auntie' to little Lucy.

Jake Hupp. Jake and Skylar's friendship began in 5th grade and flourished through their shared love of biking. An incredible artist and musician, Jake lives in Tacoma with his wife Riley, and dog, Remy. Skylar treasures not only his friendship with Jake but also his special bond with Jake's parents, Jeanna and LJ.

Jessica Huonder. Jess and Alyssa formed an instant bond when they met in Seattle in 2015. Originally from Vancouver, WA, Jess manages Momiji (a sushi restaurant in Seattle) while sharing her life with her boyfriend, Jake, and beloved dogs Honey Bee and Frankenstein. Their friendship thrives on shared passions for music, travel, and Jessica's unwavering loyalty.
Groomsman
Ben Rhinehart. Ben and Skylar's friendship kicked off in 6th grade, when Ben and his twin sister, Emily, entered Skylar's world. An incredible artist with mad skills on a bike, Ben now lives in Tacoma with girlfriend Gracie and daughter Rosie. When not creating art or tearing up trails with Skylar, he's crushing it as a devoted dad to little Rosie.
Bride’s Maid
Kasey Curtin. Kasey and Alyssa's friendship began in 2015 and has flourished ever since. Originally from Alaska, Kasey now works as a hairdresser in Portland, OR. With her fun, spunky personality, and willingness to embrace any adventure, Kasey is widely regarded as one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.
Groomsman
Tyler Thomas, better known as Stats. Skylar and Stats forged their friendship in high school, bonding instantly over their passion for cars and racing. As one of Skylar's trusted mechanic buddies, Stats brings his expertise to their shared projects. A motorcycle enthusiast with an undeniable cool factor, Stats embodies the true meaning of a ride-or-die friend.
Bride’s Maid
Emily Rhinehart. Emily, Ben's twin sister, befriended Skylar in 6th grade and later formed a strong bond with Alyssa in 2020. Married to Tom Swift and mother to Frankie and Sunny, Emily exemplifies what it means to be a true, steady friend. Skylar and Alyssa count themselves incredibly fortunate to have her warmth and wisdom in their lives.

Tommy Swift. Tom, Emily's husband and devoted father to Frankie, Sunny, and their dog Rip, connected with Skylar shortly after high school during an epic roommate adventure with their friend crew. An exceptional mechanic with unparalleled skills, Tom balances his technical expertise with a genuinely sweet nature that makes him both an incredible dad and a cherished friend.

Brigit Chase. Brigit welcomed Alyssa to Seattle in 2014, forming an instant friendship over Harry Potter and dogs. Now living in Tacoma with husband, Justin, Brigit's talents as a nail artist have earned her the title of Alyssa's personal 'nail mage.' Her sweetness, fun-loving spirit, and heart full of love make her truly special.

Justin Martinez. Justin is originally from California and is married to Brigit. He met Skylar through Alyssa and has quickly become one of Skylar's closest friends. He is a very talented musician, a drummer, and a great dog dad to Arty.
Flower Girl
Frankie Swift. Frankie, daughter of Emily and Tom and big sister to Sunny, makes her debut as a flower girl with natural flair. Her easygoing attitude and vibrant personality make her perfect for the role. A dinosaur enthusiast with impressive knowledge, Frankie has claimed a special place in both Skylar and Alyssa's hearts.
Officiant
Carl Aichele. Carl is Skylar's uncle and lives in Maine with his children Oliver and Brynn. He is an artist, as well as a skilled artisan, master craftsman, and woodworker. Growing up, Skylar considered Carl one of his closest friends, and Alyssa immediately fell in love with his kind heart and steadfast nature when they met. His incredible sense of humor and natural levity make him the perfect person to officiate this special day.
